Getting there

The event is held in the border town of Halden, right on the southeastern border of Norway, next to Sweden.

If travelling with dogs from abroad, please familiarise yourself with the requirements for travelling with dogs to Norway.

By car

The travel from the continent will involve driving through the southern part of Sweden in order to get to Halden. To get to Sweden from most of Western Europe, it's easiest to go enter Denmark through the Puttgarden-Rødby ferry. From central Europe, the ferry from Świnoujście to Trelleborg might be an easier option. From Eastern Europe, the ferry from Tallin to Stockholm might be the easiest way.

The nearest international airport to Halden is Oslo International Airport (OSL). Oslo Airport is well connected to most of the world. The airport is connected to Halden by train.
